Heather Graham Image

Heather Graham is a blonde beauty that has graced both silver and small screen with grace and presence. From her early career playing bit roles to her super stardom in such films as From Hell and Austin Powers, her talent is undeniable, nor is her loveliness.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she is the daughter of an FBI Agent and a children's author. Initially Heather's parents agreed to her acting career, and even drove her to auditions, but only for any film that didn't have sex in it. Being very religious, they didn't feel this was appropriate for their daughter. This issue had cost her a role in "Heathers", which went on to cult status with Shannen Doherty.

She grew up in Virginia and later in California where she went to Agoura High School in 1988. Graham attended acting classes at the University of California, where she met her first hollywood romance, James Wood. He helped her to get a role in "Diggstown". Once she had a feature film under her belt, she left for Hollywood much to her parents objections.

She had many critical, but small roles in many films, but it wasn't until the 1997 "Boogie Nights" for which she was recognized by the Academy in the form of a nomination for her portrayal of the Roller Girl. This was also the first film she appeared nude in and this estranged her from her parents, who were horrified. They still do not have a good relationship to this day due to her career. Oddly, her sister Aimee is also an actress and writer.

Living with and romantically involved with musician Adam Ant, she continued her career landing a role in "Austin Powers:The Spy that Shagged Me" and a bit later, Johnny Depp's "From Hell", about Jack the Ripper.

Heather Graham is also the spokeswoman for Garnier, has appeared in the ad for Skyy Vodka. She also appeared in the music video for Lenny Kravitz, "American Woman."

Her latest TV project, unfortunately, only lasted one episode before ABC cancelled "Emily's Reason Why Not" in 2006. Life Magazine, unknowing of ABC's decision in time, printed a large article with her, calling her the "Sexiest Woman on TV." Ironically, the article stated how she liked to spend her time off.

But don't count her out! She has 3 films in post production and one yet to start filming for next year, and you'll see why in these pages! Enjoy!
